What issues? Please be specific.

If you're talking test failures, 8 times out of 10 its simply a bad test, so I just ignore it. The other times its simply one missing feature -- not a big deal.

For all other "issue" I check the bug cue for patches -- annoying yes, you could try getting the tarball/zipfile from github and trying to install that

Other than helping other figure out installation issues, I don't actually use Padre ... last time I installed it was in 2014
