this certainly looks like a bug, THANK YOU! :)

So it's not my wiki code causing it.

I tested as anomonk and the content of the textarea is trimmed from surrounding newlines.

maybe it's the monasteries codebase ... maybe a firefox thing.

for the time being, please use an extra whitespace.
