in reply to OOPs in PERL

http://perlmaven.com/moo. Don't be put off by the first page; it's a summary of features for people who want to know the difference between Moo and Moose (Moo is much smaller but almost 100% compatible). It's written by a Perlmonk (szabgab) who has given excellent talks at the London Perl Workshop (that I have attended). The tutorials linked to from this site tend to talk about "roll your own" OO with manual "bless"ing of objects. This can confuse (and the code from one of the tutorials didn't work for me some years back). Moo (and similar modules) do much of the hard work for you.
