Heroku for Perl CGI hosting

alokranjan has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi All,

Greetings of the day!!

Can anyone please let me know how can I host my perl CGI app in Heroku, as its only available hosting platform provided to us.

Any help/assistance would be highly appreciated.

Today's question in the CB (password prompt for Perl6) made me browse GitHub (wbiker/io-prompt → pnu/io-prompt → pnu) where I noticed heroku-buildpack-perl. Haven't I seen a question related to the same somewhere? Coincidence? I don't think so.
