Like I said, the wording may not be entirely clear; but the point is, was, and always has been, to post code in CUFP.

That may be your understanding, but it has always been acceptable practice to post a link to your perl code in CUFP -- the only requirement is that its "cool", it doesn't have to be actual code that fits into a node

If one's intent is to discourse at some length about how/why the code was written, or whatever, then that's Meditations.

Its still just a cool story :) so it still fits the purpose of the section, even though now CUFP is also the snippets/craft section, so its three times as cool as before
