morgon has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi

I have used perlbrew to install a perl from source on my Raspberry.

As part of the installation I have added this to my .bashrc:

source ~/perl5/perlbrew/etc/bashrc
This line (commenting it out makes the problem disappear) now causes the following warning whenever a new shell is started (in may case: whenever I split my tmux-pane):
manpath: warning: $MANPATH set, ignoring /etc/manpath.config
Does anybody know how to supress this warning?

Many thanks!

It looks like you are running into this bug in perlbrew. The fix is at the same link.

This is not an optical illusion, it just looks like one.

Yep - that fixed it. Thanks.
