Just a reminder!

The next Silicon Valley Perl Mongers meeting is Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 7 pm in the Netscape Cafeteria.

Jesse Monroy, from SVBUG (Silicon Valley BSD Users' Group) will talk about Programming with Perl and DBM files. (Believe it or not, a lot of ecommerce sites use DBM to cache SQL results. eToys did.)

So bring your Perl, DBM, BSD and Ricochet Poletop (!) questions and Jesse will answer all of them.

Just a tip for anyone going there for the first time...
Remember that Netscape=AOL. The first time I went down there, I got slightly confused by the AOL signs, thought I was in the wrong place at first. IIRC the AOL signs are more prominent than the Netscape ones are, but you will have to find the one 'N' sign just as the directions say. It is among a bunch of 'aol' signs, so don't let that fool you.
