in thread Reversed .= operator
Except on one single occasion early this year where I wrote the prototype (or proof of concept) of a program code conversion utility from a subset of a proprietary programming language into a subset of Java, and I wrote a Perl 6 grammar of that language subset for that. But this was just a three-week project and I did not need a large production server for that, running the prototype on a PC to convert three or four programs was sufficient for our purpose.
But Perl 6 came out only a few months ago, it needs some time to gain some momentum. I have been using it on both Linux and Windows platforms, it's good start. I am not using it at work, but there is not only work in life and I am using it for fun at this point. And it is great fun.
I should add that I have met at the French Perl Workshop of last year people using it for their work (even though Perl 6 was not production ready then). But I am unfortunately unable to give details about what kind of work these people are doing with it.
