Still the same! nothing change! I don't know why Buil --installdirs is not recognized!

Maybe you should try something? else?

    Shall I uninstall Perl? and install it again? Or could be problmatic do that?

      Try this  rm -rfv /home/uce/.cpan/build/GD-2.56-zwX4le

      Then cpan GD

        Than

         $ cpan GD

        Still doesn't work
