DarkBlue has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
Can anyone help with this?
Platform: Win2K (SP2), Apache 1.3.20, mod_perl 1.26_01-dev.
Perl Library: Image-Magick 5.26
I have downloaded the ImageMagick binaries for Win2K. I copied the entire ImageMagick directory into Apache/site/lib (thus Apache/site/lib/ImageMagick/*.*).
Perl source includes: use Image::Magick;
Result a "500 Server Error". Apache log includes the following lines:
Prototype mismatch: sub Apache::ROOT::shapeshifter::system::image_libr +ary_2ecgi::Transparent vs ($;@) at E:/Apache/lib/Exporter.pm line 57. at e:/apache/htdocs/shapeshifter/system/image_library.cgi line 14 Prototype mismatch: sub Apache::ROOT::shapeshifter::system::image_libr +ary_2ecgi::Opaque vs ($;@) at E:/Apache/lib/Exporter.pm line 57.
I suspect that this is because Image-Magick (module) does not know where to find ImageMagick (binaries, etc).
Question: How/where do I install the binaries on the platform described here so that I can use ImageMagick in my CGIs?
