Currently when viewing a thread as aNaNymonk, and the top poster is aNaNymonk also, the responses by aNaNymonk have `Edit` links. But `NaN != NaN`.... Besides that, shouldn't the label read `[edit]` like the other choices?	[reply] [d/l] [select]

Do you have an example? I went to a top node that I had replied to. I clicked on my reply, and got the display mode, with an Edit link just below the reputation line. Update: I now see what you're talking about - you are referring to before the node is open in display mode. I agree completely.
