RESTful Services

LarryDMoss has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Taking our web to the next level. Need to create RESTful web services to work with Backbone. I have found documentation on how to consume services, but not to create them. Does anyone have a map to the treasure?

Alternatively you might want to have a look at Catalyst::Controller::REST, only selling my own fishing school here but I have been very happy with this framework. If you want some documentation on the pros and cons of each solution you can find some here or on reddit.	[reply]
