Because of the complexity of your program, and the fact that you only are having trouble with parsing the references at the end of your YAML file, can you reduce this to a short, self-contained correct example? Perhaps one in which the only thing in YAML file is the references? Removing the distracting stuff will make it easier to help.

    i have edited the main post, i kept it this long for someone to understand, if we further need trimming i can omit some other fields as well
