I can't find it in perlwin32, but I'm having in mind it's a problem in the underlying system. An internet search for "chdir unc" explicitly excluding* "perl" finds enough similiar items to support this. * Update: fixed link	[reply]

Like pushd does, you'll need to create a virtual drive first	[reply]

On Windows that is... pushd and popd would work, except you can't do system("pushd \\\\unc_path1\\folder") because it spawns a new shell and then exits with system()	[reply]
