Oracle167 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I have installed ActivePerl on Windows 2008 with MSI from exe on the wrong Directory C drive rather then D drive. Best way to resolve issue can I repair, modify or do I need to remove new install completely? Then I would also need to delete directories created during installation of ActivePerl ? Active Perl 5.6.1 was initially installed on Windows 2008 and had problems with builds running on Windows 2008 so we tried Active Perl 5.24 to see if that would resolve the problem Thanks Doug

Uninstall and reinstall. Takes a few minutes (probably less time than typing your question and waiting for a reply) but is reliable.

Anything else has risks: big or small, why take them?
