How to install ActivePerl on D drive Windows 2008

Oracle167 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I need to install ActivePerl 5.24 on Windows 2008 Server D drive but when I execute exe it doesn't allow me to install on D drive goes to C Drive. What is the best way to uninstall and install ActivePerl? Thanks Doug

Please take the time to actually read what the installer says: "Custom: Allows users to choose which program features will be installed and where they will be installed..."	[reply]

Have you had the look at the vendors installation instructions? Here are the ActivePerl installation instructions for 5.22. I assume that they don't really differ from the installation instructions for 5.24. For uninstallaing software on Windows, I assume that you click on "Uninstall" in the software part of the system settings.	[reply]
