Oracle167 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I need to install ActivePerl 5.24 on Windows 2008 Server D drive but when I execute exe it doesn't allow me to install on D drive goes to C Drive. What is the best way to uninstall and install ActivePerl? Thanks Doug

    Please take the time to actually read what the installer says: "Custom: Allows users to choose which program features will be installed and where they will be installed..."

    Have you had the look at the vendors installation instructions? Here are the ActivePerl installation instructions for 5.22. I assume that they don't really differ from the installation instructions for 5.24.

    For uninstallaing software on Windows, I assume that you click on "Uninstall" in the software part of the system settings.
