Re^2: strict "vars" mode for hash key literals?

While I agree that I've never encountered restricted hashes in real code, and have never felt like I should reach for them, I also cannot say that I have never been bitten by problems that they could have prevented. Unfortunately, unlike use strict, they are a feeble solution that is inelegant to wield.

I certainly wasn't counsellings against their use; just noting that I ~~am unable~~ have no basis upon which to recommend for them. With the rise and rise of 'Social' network sites: 'Computers are making people easier to use everyday' Examine what is said, not who speaks -- Silence betokens consent -- Love the truth but pardon error. "Science is about questioning the status quo. Questioning authority". I knew I was on the right track :) In the absence of evidence, opinion is indistinguishable from prejudice.	[reply]
