As you have not told us your operating system, I can only suggest that you consult with your system administrator on how to increase the entropy pool. Maybe Google has some suggestions for that.

net ssleay rand_poll slow to initialize points out the Net::SSLeay bug on the CPAN RT to me, which points to Stackoverflow and potentially to OpenSSL Windows Issues. I don't know if there is a solution to your problem, but if I were to look, I would look at those links and the approaches they suggest.	[reply]
