These ActiveState binaries are all pay-to-play and I don't have an account (nor do I want one).

Thanks anyway...

Final update: I'm giving up on using wxGlade/wxWidgets, it's more complex than needed.

I decided to adapt something I used over 12 years ago -- localhost server to simulate forms posting.

The localhost scheme means eForms are created using a browser and the capturing of data, using Perl, is short. However, I'm having problems getting it to work the way I want and to work reliably, but I'll ask questions under a more appropriate title.

In any event, I thank everyone for the help. As I've said many times, one of the strengths of Perl, is that it has an active and knowledgeable group of followers who are always eager to extend a helping hand. Thanks!

    Thanks,
