in thread What are the rules on calling myself?

Hi,

A prototype is the ($) part, delete that

Also, do use diagnostics/splain and read more about it

    I use this:
    use strict; use warnings; use diagnostics;
    Is that what you were referring to?

    There are a lot of "$" in that code. Which one are you referring to?

    Many thanks,
    -T

      use diagnostics; Is that what you were referring to?

      Yes, when you do that, you get a longer version of the error message

      There are a lot of "$" in that code. Which one are you referring to?

      I'm only referring to ($) , to be exact "( $ )" , because thats the prototype
