in reply to What killed Perl?

And is the recent rise of trolling related to the shut down of IMDB's message boards?

What happened to IMDB and Perl? Can you share the info/link?

They are shutting down the comments/forums/boards because the only traffic they get is diehards and trolls. The flaming no longer makes them look good or money. The regular people all left for twitter/facebook. They said social media but explain fb twit. Some malarkey about using your real human name global blah blah... Its all forums. Nothing to do with perl just trolls finding a new home

LanX, I think you enjoy the loss of market share that Perl has experienced.
Well not as much as I would enjoy your loss of board share...
