That's not an option either, since my home directory doesn't get put into the product build. I've really got to find a different way to do it. -aijin, hoping the second server she writes will be easier	[reply]

Okay then, go get it, install it in a directory that will be included in the product build, and 'use lib' that directory. If you really have to write it yourself, you'd be wise to get Perl Cookbook from O'Reilly which has examples of this sort of thing. Or do a SuperSearch on this site for info on forking servers.
