hennesseystealth has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

We are a small company without any internal IT support. We have been able to keep on top of things by not changing much since we setup our first VPS in 1995. I won't bore you with the horror story of forced migrations and DDoS, but we are now on a Network Solution VPS and they won't provide us any help...even after paying MyTime to do the migration...

We have cgi scripts (literature request form, etc.) that were running perfectly well on a Verio VPS but won't run at all now (you don't have permission to access that document). So, we are looking for someone that can help get those 6 forms working (verify the correct version of PERL is installed and cgi's pointed to the right directory). Free help gets great Karma, but we are willing to pay for help.

Any suggestions on where to turn would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Monastery, hennesseystealth. I'm sorry to hear about your plight.

Since we don't give recommendations on or allow contracting/jobs here, most will refer you to Perl Jobs, where you can list your opening for free. Particularly, look at the Employers section.

    Cheers,
