    perldoc, see 'man perldoc'

Update: You might like to see pod2html as well.

     pod2html /usr/share/perl/5.6.1/CGI.pm > /tmp/pod.html; konqueror /tmp/pod.html

Shouldn't be too hard to make a perl script to automatically do that.

Update: This does the job: Display Pod in your web browser

Why isn't this a perldoc switch I wonder?

If you have Tk installed you can use tkpod to view pod nicely with styles etc.

When I last used the Win32::GUI module the distro included a graphical POD viewer.

Generally, I use pod2html or the "View man page of POD" option in emacs' CPerl mode.

    Howdy!

I mostly use nedit for my IDE on the Solaris boxes I use. Since I can execute an arbitrary command and insert the output into the current document, I just open a blank document and run 'perldoc -t ...'.

For Windows there is Perl Oasis:
    http://www.bahnhof.se/~johanl/perl/Oasis/

Blurb: Perl Oasis is a code navigator; a POD/source/class browser tightly integrated with (currently) UltraEdit (optional, but nice-to-have). It makes it easy to navigate source code, POD, modules and your files. It is a Win32::GUI application.
