The best packaging for food is:
Vacuum sealed. Not only does it keep longer, but if you want to defrost something relatively small, you can put it in a bath of warm (not hot - you'll cook it) water and speed the process up dramatically.

Nice idea. But i am looking more for the packaging, rather than the method. I'm curious what our fellow monks think about it.
