Thanks it worked fine for this small data set .But I have to do it for complete log ,I mean I have top open a file and the iteratively have to do it .

How big is your log file? If it's really big, that's a crucial piece of information that should be included with the rest of the problem statement.	[reply]

Size is around 30-40 mb.	[reply]
