That'll stop inquisitive people getting the code, for a very short time. Encoding is not encryption. How can I hide the source for my Perl program?/unbleach.pl, any of the other threads that pop up here....	[reply]

Howdy! That assertion depends on how you define "encryption". A simple substitution cipher is encryption. Weak, but... That said, my suggestion was tongue-in-cheek ("heppin"). But the goal of the OP was unrealistic, and my suggestion was simpler than the path they were going down. yours, Michael	[reply]

Essentially encryption requires a form of key/secret to reverse, where with encoding all you need is the algorithm. They're fundamentally different. While your suggestion is simple, it's not what OP wants, because that doesn't exist. I've never come across the term "heppin" before, sorry.	[reply]
