While contemplating mine navel (innie), and trying to count angels the other day, I drifted around to wondering what 'PM' actually stood for! Many options presented themselves, so I thought I'd try and compile a node of them.

If this has been done before, my SuperSearch for 'pm' returned too many results to parse (:
Apologies.
So far, PM: What else is there out there? the 'qif;

    Some good ones there from the lookup ..
    my favourites in a perl sense include:
    • Preventive Maintenance
    • Process Manager
    • Peripheral Module
    • Pay Master
    • Phase Modulation
    • Preventitive Medicine
      And the inevitable:
    • Project Management (:

      Project Management.... hmmm....

      Strange how it is that two words, perfectly logical when used on their own, suddenly become totally meaning less when used together ;)

      How about prattling managers?

      $japh->{'Caillte'} = $me;

        Thats probly the nicest /p*/ word appropriate.
        not that several others lend themselves in the context, wooooah not at all (:

    Of course there are many more, but which ones seem appropriate? They actually list "PERL Monk" on that first page, but I wonder how many viewers would understand that.

    The one that struck me most was Perpetual Motion - things happen here around the clock!

    I'd like to be able to assign to an luser

      Through some strange twist of fate, clicking on the "Go" button next to "PERL Monks" takes you to the Amazon page for Java 2 and JavaScript for C and C++ Programmers. Uhh...

      perl -pe '"I lo*`+$^X$\"$]!$/"=~m%(.*)%s;$_=$1;y^+*`^ ve^#$&V"+@( NO CARRIER'

        That is odd. It seems to be doing a search for 'PERL Monk' which jumps directly to a java book.... This can be replicated with a book-only search on 'perl monk' anywhere on amazon.
