I should start looking out for a rubber monk for my desk...

PS: what a splendid merchandising idea to generate income for the monastery! xD

I was considering flying home for a family visit, and while there, trying to figure out how to steal this rubber duck.

If your duck size correlated with the size of problems it allowed you to solve, no issue would be insurmountable!

I have a rubber penguin (Tux) on the top of my screen. Is it ok? Or does it need to be a duck?

Funnily, it was distributed in a fair by Microsoft (manufactured as an advertisement for the MS cloud, I believe).

Well, if I need a debugging aid, I force my intern into his debugging suit ... ;-)

But yes, a penguin works fine, as does a teddy bear or a random co-worker that happens to pass by. Unless you need to debug Microsoft problems. In that case, having a large and reliable supply of sacrificial chicken, candles and pentagram chalk can sometimes help.
