in thread Patience is a Monk Virtue

From a 10,000 foot view his posts come off credible—even authoritative from the deluge of buzzwords, breezy “expertise,” and history—to someone who doesn’t know any better, like new seekers. His posts often need to be countered with more than downvotes. Otherwise it becomes an implicit endorsement; monks generally accept him as a credible peer and at his word. At this point that’s a serious disservice to the monastery.

It’s a sad situation but the only one who can fix it is him. As marto was saying, either by taking feedback and corrections and respecting the ethos of the place like almost all of us do or, if that isn’t achievable, ceasing to post.
