@Todd-Ransom Just added a whole bunch of Perl packages to the repo, try opkg update and see what's available. I think you're likely looking for perlbase-base to start

Take a look at http://downloads.lede-project.org/snapshots/packages/mipsel_24kc/packages/ and Ctrl+F for Perl to get an idea of what's available.
