configure SMTPHost and port into EMAIL module

ytjPerl has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hey folks, how to send out email on network limited server? I do not have internet access on that server, but I know the SMTPHost and Port. How can I configure it into email module to enable it? Thanks

I would use Net::SMTPS or Net::SMTP, both of which are very simple to use in such a fashion.	[reply]

Another way is MIME::Lite and certainly stuff in the Email namespace.	[reply]
