++; but since chacham's proposed solution uses javascript, that notification would probably not be mail, but a popup or something different. And this gave me the idea of sending a notification via IRC or XMPP or similiar protocol. Of course, except for the blacklist probability being lower, the other problems mentioned in tye's Re^3: Email notification of replies pertaining to me (work) would still remain.	[reply]

I have no experience with blacklists, we had about 50 posts yesterday, I'm not sure if this would be enough traffic for getting blocked. NB : The monastery already sends password reminders via email.
