traveler has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I have a need to forward a port from a Win32 box to a remote system and I'd like to use ssh. I cannot figure out how to do port forwarding with Net::SSH::Perl, though. I searched here, on CPAN and on google with no joy. Is it even possible, and if so, can someone point me in the right direction?

Also, does anyone know if the math routines have been converted to ppm? I don't have a C compiler here. (I'll load cygwin if I need to, but was hoping not to have to.)

Thanks, --traveler

The latest cygwin works great. You don't need to load everything, just a few of the base packages and ssh. Give it a whirl.
