Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Can anyone guide me in building a web concordancer. I have use WWW::Search module to make search on a search engine and get the following values - url, title, description. How do I go abt extracting some concordance lines from each page? Thanks--Need help desperately

    I know of fsconcordance written by Meng Weng Wong (creator of pobox.com), back before Perl5 had gained wide acceptance. The links to the code seem broken on that page, so here is an alternate listing.

    This is an old script, and probably could use some modernizing, but it might be worth a look.
