People go to forums like this to find answers, and they generally know and care nothing about things like experience-points. If you think that you have a reply that's beneficial to the subject and the audience of the thread that you have chosen, just say it. And if you think that the response might be taken negatively, just hide behind Anonymous Monk like everybody else does.
