rt://122928 has a response which links to rt://106214, a reply to which suggests that at some point the module may not play well with modern releases of MediaWiki, suggesting a possible fix/work around in this snack overflow post. MediaWiki::Bot seems more up to date, but has reports of breakage. I don't know what problem you're actually trying to fix, perhaps there's a different way of doing it.
