I'm not sure if the way I use the message inbox is similar to how others use it, but there's a few quick suggestions in regards to my approach that I feel would be useful.

First, how I use it: I typically will archive important messages until I get around 40-50 or so; at which point, I save out the box as HTML on a local machine so that they are saved, then delete all the entries to start anew. When new messages come in, I delete most of the fluff from the cb nodelet, then use the Message Inbox node to archive those that I do want to keep.

Now, the suggestions I have are these:

Probably very simple changes, but useful nonetheless.

It's not what you know, but knowing how to find it if you don't know that's important

Good ideas, especially as I use the Message Inbox in pretty much the same way. Since you have raised the topic I'd like to add a wish: It would be very handy to have date/time stamps on each message, especially when one has come back from some days away.
