I found the solution myself. There must be something wrong with Perlbrew at the moment, to see the complete list of Perl available it is possible to use perlbrew available --all in this way also normal Perl (not only cperl) are shown. With a normal Perl installation, the problem encountered in my post is no there (as expected).
