I can't offer any solution but it might be helpful if you could provide a link to the earlier thread in which other Monks helped you. It might also be useful to know what versions of the perl interpreter and modules were used in your working system, and perhaps the platform as well.

Thanks for responding John, the old post is Accessing attachments using RT::Client::REST although I cannot now set the uudecoded flag since I am not retrieving the attachments in that manner any more.	[reply]
