    Really, "Bombay" ??!

"The Government of India officially changed the English name to Mumbai in November 1995." (source: Wikipedia)

The way forward always starts with a minimal test.
Even many Indians still call it synonymously Bombay. (i.e. an alias)

Please don't import any politically motivated "problems" into our tolerant domain.

Hm, m, m, Mumbai. As a foreigner, you should call her Mumbai. Bombayites may call her Bombay.
Tolerance and respect are both a thing in their own right.

        Cheers, Sören
