"You do not have to answer"

Correct, no one has to answer. People do, however, because they are kind. You cleverly detected that the answer contained a measure of criticism of your post (it can not be considered a question), which was utterly lacking in effort on your part. Yet, the respondent actually was kind enough to provide you with the steps needed to "solve" your "issue." And in return, you post a snarky comment?

In fact, it's more like "you do not have to ask," not in this way, in this place, at least. Until you show effort at (a) trying to solve your own problem and (b) trying to ask for help in a respectful and appropriate way, your "questions" will not be received any differently than this one was.

The problem here is not the kind monks who bothered to reply. The problem is you. Only you can change this situation; if you post again in the same way, you'll surely get the same down votes and the same kind of answers.

The way forward always starts with a minimal test.
