My favorite CB client over the years used to be the Chatterbox Sidebar because I could easily follow chats while surfing other sites without any extra installation.

Unfortunately this feature seems to be gone now in FF too.

Bookmark properties used to show a checkbox saying something like "Load this bookmark into the sidebar" (still available in FF<60)

My current FF66.0.2 is up to date and this feature disappeared.

RIP! :(

    For those missing this feature, I installed a FF addon "Webpage Sidebar Viewer" and now I'm able to follow the CB ° again while surfing other pages.

    The semantics are different though, if I click a link there it'll open inside the sidebar, which is inconvenient when clicking on thread-links.*

    Tho this might have advantages when wanting to have real split screens like in emacs :)
