Mail @cpan.org redirect - how time does it take to have the forward working?

proch has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello monks!

When I signed up for my PAUSE account I initially declined any redirection, but last week changed my mind and updated my account setting asking to redirect @cpan.org mail to my "secret" email address. I got email confirmation of this.

After three days this was not working (email return to sender) so I tried updating my secret address with a different one, but still no luck.

Do you have experience of how many days can it take to have the email alias working?

Currently, the Perl NOC is doing "maintenance week", so I expect that some (or all) services are down. At least `nntp.perl.org` is unresponsive for me and maybe the MX server for `cpan.org` is also unresponsive...	[reply] [d/l]

The spam blocking on @cpan.org addresses is aggressive enough that not much gets through.	[reply]

The error I get mailing to my @cpan.org is: `554 5.7.1 <proch@cpan.org>: Recipient address rejected: Access denied` Could this be related to SPAM prevention?	[reply] [d/l]
