Worked on my machine (windows 2000, ActivePerl) and all I did was right-click the d/l code link and save to the directory I save all silly PM obfus and fun stuff to. Not one warning or error was reported.

When reporting broken software it's usually helpful to mention exactly what sort of error you got and what you did to execute this script.

FWIW, I got an error when I ran it with `$ ./obfu.pl`, but got a LOTR quote when I ran it with `$ perl ./obfu.pl`. Weird.	[reply] [d/l] [select]

Two possibilities You don't have the execute bit set on obfu.pl. 'chmod u+x obfu.pl' Your perl interpreter is some place other than /usr/bin/perl /\/\averick perl -l -e "eval pack('h*','072796e6470272f2c5f2c5166756279636b672');"	[reply]

I found there were a bunch of ^M (DOS newlines) which I didn't see. One was before the shebang line, so I guess it was trying to execute as a `sh` script when I did `./obfu.pl`, but didn't care when I put `perl ./obfu.pl`. Whee!	[reply]
