grim8634 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi, I've created a mySQL based guestbook for my site, which is entirely coded using HTML::Templates. It is a work in progress as I'm kinda new to perl. I have created a template for the posts page, to view the posts, and a template I wish to go around each induvidual posting inside the main page. Can anyone help me on how to get the last 10 postings from the database one at a time (They are stored in order with dates and ID's) and to insert them into the variable from the main page. The templates in question are viewable at alola.org/templates/posts1.tmpl and alola.org/templates/post2.tmpl. Thanks for any help you can offer me. Graeme. (glawton@alola.org)

I'd quite like to have a crack at answering this question, but I don't think I can do so without installing the SOPW::Psychic module ;) Can you post some code? The "templates" you reference, as far as I can see, are just plain html, so not very informative. I'm sure someone, if not I, can tell you what you need to know, but this isn't going to happen unless you ask a more informative question.
