Hey, I like it.... Though it appears to be perl-version dependent as well. It works on linux with perl 5.6.1, but not with 5.00503.

% perl5.6.1   -e 'srand(-2091643526); print chr rand 90 for (0..4)'
JAPH

% perl5.00503 -e 'srand(-2091643526); print chr rand 90 for (0..4)'

Interesting that the 'PH' is the same in both...
