I've been thinking a bit about it and part of me says it's just not doable, but here goes. How about having aliasses for some nodes? Example: Seekers of Perl Wisdom could be SOPW (since that's how ppl something refer to it). Other examples might be Anonymous Monk being AM, OeufMayo being OM. Maybe this could be a level thing, defining your own alias (for those having a rather long monk name).

    I don't recall exactly if the pre 1.0 e2 engine had this, but you can set up "location" nodes which just point to different things. SOPW would be a good alias, and short hand for certain site related things might be good, butt, aliases for users, i'm all against it (really really really really really useless).
