stormwolfen has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I am slowly learning Perl by books, this awesome website, and creating small applications.

However, I am wondering if anyone here knows of any good schools that teach Perl in Phoenix, Arizona or Denver, Colorado?

I have been checking for schools, but figured someone here might have had a good experience in one of these classes, and that counts more then what a school recruiter says.

Along with schools, you might try a couple of vendor training seminars. Sun Microsystems, for example, offered a couple of Perl courses that I'm aware of- but never atteneded. Depending on what you want to learn, this might be a viable (possibly cheaper) alternative.

Then again, if you're lucky you get what you pay for. At any rate, Sun's training schedule can be found at http://suned.sun.com.

-- I haven't taken it yet but I will be trying the Barnes & Noble Online Course in Perl this January. You may consider doing something similar.
-- I'd like to see if Online Courses work for me. I love learning I hate school/college/etc.

Try http://batky-howell.com/. I've attended many classes and they are very good. Located in Englewood, CO.
