Wow, didn't expect help so quick.
Using push, plus a slight change in the way it prints each link brought the time down to ~5 mins. instead of print "<A href='@dirs'>@dirs</a><br>"; I used just print "<A href='$_'>$_</A><br>";
works now. Thanks again. :)
